AcruxKC Trailblazes Behavioral Health Legacy Grants: Transforming Community Well-being

In a resolute endeavor to tackle the mental health crisis gripping our region, the AcruxKC Board of Directors has approved the inception of Legacy Grants for Behavioral Health. This exclusive grant program, available by invitation only, is poised to wield significant influence by broadening access to licensed care providers, particularly in regions identified as mental health provider deserts.

Unveiling the Vision:

Forging a Strong Partnership:

AcruxKC acknowledges and values the indispensable contributions of community partners in addressing diverse health needs across our region. In a testament to the strength of collaboration, we are delighted to announce the expansion of our partnership with the Health Partnership Clinic. Together, our aim is to elevate behavioral health services in the 66062 zip code and its surrounding areas through the appointment of a licensed care coordinator.

Investing in Impact:

For the inaugural year of this groundbreaking program, AcruxKC proudly allocates $85,000 to the Health Partnership Clinic. This funding injection is a pivotal aspect of the Legacy Grant for Behavioral Health-Expansion Grant, an initiative strategically crafted to address mental health challenges across a broader spectrum. The objective is to establish a sustainable foundation for the Health Partnership Clinic, ensuring a lasting impact on behavioral health services.

A Call to Action:

AcruxKC is enthusiastic about the transformative potential of the Legacy Grants for Behavioral Health program to bring enduring change to our community's mental health landscape. It transcends being merely a grant; it's a commitment to fostering collaborations and directing resources toward initiatives that significantly contribute to the well-being of those in need.

Stay connected for updates as we embark on this transformative journey. Together, we have the power to make a meaningful difference.
