What We Do

Advancing Health Access. Empowering Education.

AcruxKC makes strategic investments in three key areas: short-term medical assistance to the underserved, health grants to schools and nonprofits, and support for medical education through scholarships and professional development. Our work reflects our commitment to a healthier Kansas City.

AccessKC Health Assistance

Helping Individuals Get the Care They Need

AccessKC facilitates access to care for underserved area residents by removing financial barriers. For individuals who qualify, AccessKC covers 100% of the cost of basic health services, including emergency dental care, prescriptions, eye exams and glasses, and other needs.

What We Offer:

  • Support for short-term medical needs

  • Online registration and requests for vouchers

How It Works:

  • Individuals can apply through a partner agency or online (for select services)

  • AcruxKC does not provide direct services

  • AccessKC is not insurance. We coordinate access and cover costs

  • Community-based health services and outreach
