What We Do

Advancing Health Access. Empowering Education.

At AcruxKC, we support a healthier Kansas City by focusing on three key areas: providing essential funding through health grants, offering short-term medical assistance, and supporting medical education through scholarships and professional development. Each program reflects our mission to improve lives through access, opportunity, and care.

Health Grants

Funding Community Health Solutions

AcruxKC partners with schools and nonprofit organizations to strengthen health outcomes across Kansas City. Our health grants provide targeted funding to support programs that expand access to care, improve community wellness, and promote innovative health initiatives.

  • Health education programs in schools

  • Preventative care and wellness initiatives

  • Community-based health services and outreach

Whoโ€™s Eligible:

  • Accredited schools and 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations within the Kansas City region

Medical Assistance

Helping Individuals Get the Care They Need

Through our AccessKC program, we help individuals overcome financial barriers to healthcare. Our short-term medical assistance covers services such as eye exams, glasses, hearing aids, and other urgent medical needs.

What We Offer:

  • Support for urgent medical needs (short-term)

  • Online voucher applications for vision and hearing services

  • Partner agency referrals for other healthcare support

How It Works:

  • Individuals can apply through a partner agency or online (for select services)

  • AcruxKC does not provide direct servicesโ€”we coordinate funding and billing
