2025 - 2026 Nursing Scholarships
We are delighted to announce that $161,000 in nursing scholarships has been awarded for the 2025–2026 academic year. Applicants competed for two prestigious awards: the Trinity Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing Alumnae Scholarship and the L.A. Hollinger, MD Scholarship.
The Trinity Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing Alumnae Fund awarded a total of $157,000 in scholarships to exceptional nursing students pursuing their academic and professional goals.
The L.A. Hollinger, MD Fund awarded $4,000 in additional scholarships to four students whose applications reflected one of the core values exemplified by the late Dr. Hollinger:
Compassionate and professional patient care
Excellence in education and teaching
Service to one’s community and nation
Medical missions to the indigent
These scholarships reflect AcruxKC’s ongoing commitment to supporting the next generation of nurses and honoring legacies that continue to shape compassionate, high-quality care in Kansas City and beyond.
